Monel 400 is a high-strength nickel-copper solid solution alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in alkaline, saltwater and mild acid environments. It features stable mechanical properties from low to moderate temperatures, good ductility and excellent weldability. The alloy performs exceptionally well in marine atmosphere, seawater, brine and chemical processing media, and is widely used in marine engineering, valve fittings, pump parts, heat exchangers and marine pipeline systems.
